our stay at mida creek was better than we expected! the hotel was so comfortable, it felt like a home away from home. we loved the variety of activities available and the delicious food at the restaurant. the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable.

Breakfast options could be more varied.

We had an amazing time during our stay at a serene hotel located right next to the marine park. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel offered great facilities like paddle board rentals and a private snorkeling session. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. We also enjoyed the complementary boat shuttle to the nearby busier beach. The view of the creek was breathtaking.

The hotel lacked curtains in the rooms, which made it quite bright in the mornings.

Upon arrival, we immediately felt a sense of tranquility in this hidden oasis nestled among the mangroves and jungles by the creek. the hotel can be reached either by a boat driven by the friendly captain or by taxi which they organize for you. the isolated location allows for a peaceful retreat, away from crowded beaches and salespeople. the hotel boasts a talented chef, offering a variety of delicious dishes including local cuisine, burgers, pasta, and seafood. the staff, from cleaners to barmen to the pool boy, are exceptional and make you feel like part of their family. The hotel exudes a truly authentic Kenyan culture, and the beautiful surroundings immerse you in nature. Cons: Couldn't fault it! ✨.

The value for money at Mida Creek was excellent and the room was spacious, clean, and had amazing views. The location was perfect, secluded but with plenty to do, and the staff treated us like family.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Watamu. The room had an amazing view and the hotel was set in a serene location surrounded by nature. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the facilities at the hotel were great. I especially enjoyed the pool and the various activities available. The hotel's location next to the marine park was a bonus, as it allowed for easy access to nearby beaches.

Het hotel had een mooie locatie met een lichte en frisse ruimte die uitkeek op de buitenwereld. Bovendien waren de prijzen redelijk en waren er goede voorzieningen zoals een televisie met Engels sprekende kanalen en koffie- en theefaciliteiten op de kamer. Het ontbijt was misschien wat beperkt, maar over het algemeen was de ervaring positief.
